Upcoming Event: Date Night for Married & Engaged Couples

Dear Parishioners,

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day and welcome to these continuing 40 days of Lenten retreat. Hope you are all doing well with your Lenten resolutions.

Around the corner is an event coming our way, Date Night – To remember why you first fell in love! Jen Ricard has worked beautifully over the last several years trying to gather men, women, and parishioners, to create a closer church community as we deepen our spirituality, growing closer to Christ.

This time it is an evening gathering for all MARRIED COUPLES, whether you are married fifty years, fifteen years, five years or newlyweds. All married couples are invited and so are ENGAGED COUPLES!

It will be a night out to socialize and listen, to eat and drink a bit, and lastly to become energized in your love for your spouse and spouse-to-be!

The Date Night, held in the IHM Parish Community Center (PCC) beginning at 6:30pm Friday, April 26th, 2019 will be a BYOB, but we will prepare hearty appetizers and desserts, followed by a wonderful presentation from Father Ryan Mann, diocesan parochial vicar at Saint John Neumann in Strongsville, but also, the diocesan moderator of the Retrouvaille Marriage Program.

I am personal friends with Father Mann and so is Jen Ricard. He has an excellent ability as a speaker, story-teller, and teacher. He will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you understand God in your marriage or marriage to be.

Won’t you plan ahead to attend this DATE NIGHT? MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY. It’s simply $10.00 a COUPLE at the door! RSVP no later than Monday, April 22nd, 2019 (the day after Easter!) to Jen Ricard jricard@ihmcfo.org or through the parish website, www.ihmcfo.org, under PARISH EVENTS.

Many blessings,
Father Jim
