Dear Parishioners,
Perhaps you have been thinking about it and need information about FAITH DIRECT, our electronic auto withdrawal system for your weekly or monthly church offertory.
I first offer my thanks to parishioners and school families who have
ventured into the technological world of e-giving with FAITH DIRECT for your church offertory gift. E-giving is a weekly or monthly offertory gift that is electronically done with one’s permission to the reputable company called FAITH DIRECT. We have a total of 265 donors who use this method for giving to the church; 40 of which are school families.
This method helps us cut down on the mailing of envelopes, truly a savings! As a parish, we can collectively go “green” by eliminating the many wasteful envelopes that go unused.
There is no charge to parishioners for enrolling. In fact, every family signing up with FAITH DIRECT means one less package of envelopes to print and mail out – and that will mean savings for our parish family, which we can use to further expand our ministries throughout our community.
We consider FAITH DIRECT to be a “win-win” program for both parishioners and our parish. I strongly encourage you to enroll in this
program today: I have complete confidence in this program’s security.
I like this e-giving because it allows someone to calculate an annual, weekly, or monthly offertory gift helping them “budget” what they feel is a gift back to God. And if you think about it, this way of giving to the church brings consistent income weekly, helping us to plan better our expenses knowing that we will reliably receive your offertory gift.
Also, many people have varying schedules that may take them away from IHM church on any given weekend. In that case, we may not receive an offertory gift from them that weekend because of their absence in the pews. But utilizing FAITH DIRECT allows us to receive their offering that weekend. I am so grateful for parishioners thinking this way about our church’s financial needs and your planned budgeted sacrificial offering.
As I have mentioned before this is not mandatory by any means, but, truly helpful for our finances and planning for expenditures.
How does it work?
You can visit https://membership.faithdirect.net/OH405 and enroll securely online.
If you are not comfortable going online, you can still enroll in this program by completing an enrollment form found in this bulletin and mailing it in to their secure PO Box.
You can elect to have your specified bank or credit card account debited on the 4th & 15th of the month for both offertory and any second collections you support.
Parishioners can elect to receive “offertory cards” in lieu of envelopes to be placed in the collection basket.
Many blessings,
Father Jim
