Dear Parishioners,

Over the years, IHM has benefitted from The Boy Scouts of America and their highest award, EAGLE SCOUT. A young man typically manages a project that would benefit the community. Such projects on our property have been:

• engineering tables for IHM church,
• landscaping areas for gardens, such as our Angel Remembrance Gardens and the outdoor stations of the cross,
• GAGA pit,
• re-organized shed for parish use.

Today we are grateful to the AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS and their STARS AND STRIPES AWARD having the project of creating The IHM Prayer Garden.

A young lady wanting this award is supposed to manage a project with her troop and the help of adults. Grace saw the uncared-for area last year behind the convent and though about making this beautiful prayer garden to serve us and any others walking through in having a beautiful respite for praying to God.
