Dear Parishioners,

I am very proud to say that we are once again putting on a parish-wide service program! You are taking to the area in which we live “service” to our community! This May 22, 2021 YOU will be “CHRIST ON THE CORNER” to those in need.

This is your opportunity to go into the community and serve God by serving those in need including:
Non-profit service organizations
Elderly people with disabilities
Veterans
And many more…

You are putting your faith INTO ACTION! You will be showcasing IHM to the surrounding community and let our neighbors know what it means to be an IHM Catholic Church! This is so exciting.

You will be going out on that day in groups to different sites to do yardwork, cleaning, painting, light carpentry, landscaping, organizing homes, etc.

You will be matched to appropriate work for your ability or you can choose the type of work you want to do. You can sign up and work as a family, as a group, or sign up by yourself and be matched with a group of new friends. There is something for all ages.

We want to keep everyone healthy and safe during your work with Christ on the Corner. We will be following all CDC and Ohio Department of Health guidelines, and any other special guidelines that our work sites may require. We will be providing everyone masks and hand sanitizer to use that day. Your site leader will be providing you with more information.

We received many positive responses from you in the past as you participated in this service-oriented mission of our church! Many of you continued to come back after the first year to contribute and partake in CHRIST ON THE CORNER! Thank you!
