Dear Parishioners,

Bringing to your attention, beginning Friday August 23, 2024, the Friday morning Mass will begin at 8:15am to accommodate our elementary school children attending this mass.

Having the school children attend a weekly Mass is intimately connected to the school’s mission and catholic identity. The school day begins at 7:50am and teachers feel that starting their Fridays with a Mass, as opposed to having to attend a class subject then come over as we did for several years for a 9:30am Mass was more beneficial.

You are still welcome to attend this Mass at 8:15am. The students participate with the readings, singing, and serving. I do realize the importance of attending a daily mass (like you I have done this my whole life, even as an elementary school student). I also realize the routine schedules everyone keeps, and I sincerely hope this Mass time change does not inconvenience your daily schedule.
