Dear Parishioners,

I am very proud to say that you are once again “putting on” a parish-wide service program! You are taking to the area in which we live “service” to our community! This May 9th, 2020 YOU will be “CHRIST ON THE CORNER” to those in need.

This is your opportunity to go into the community and serve God by serving those in need including:
Non-profit service organizations
Elderly People with disabilities
Veterans

You are taking the chance to put your faith INTO ACTION! You will be showcasing IHM to the surrounding community and let our neighbors know what it means to be an IHM Catholic Church! This is so exciting.

You will be going out on that day in groups to different sites to do yard work, cleaning, painting, light carpentry, landscaping, organizing homes, etc. You will be matched to the appropriate work for your ability or you can choose a site or the type of work you want to do. You can sign up and work as a family, as a group, or sign up by yourself and be matched with a group of new friends. There is something to do for all ages.

We received many positive responses from you in the last two years as you participated in this service-oriented mission of our church! Many of you continued to come back after the first year to contribute and partake in CHRIST ON THE CORNER! That’s impressive as there were as many as 200 participants. Thank you!
