Dear Parishioners,

When Jeff Mills and I investigated buying a new organ for IHM the decision was made to reclaim the choir loft for the placement of the new organ and the choir members. An additional organ console (called the sanctuary console) was necessary to purchase as well. Its placement is on the Holy Family side of the church and in front of pews.

This position for the sanctuary console will assist Jeff Mills using this second console during the Mass when the cantor will be using the ambo (pulpit microphone) for leading our music during liturgy. Unfortunately, it may be somewhat of a hindrance for parishioners seated close by the sanctuary console and blocking the view. I am sorry about that!

You must also know in planning for these new organs to be placed no longer behind the hanging crucifix that there could open the opportunity in a few years to move the tabernacle back into a central position for our worship. And of course, we could use new paint and flooring as well. All things in God’s time.
