Dear Parishioners,

This will be the week that IHM school parents, who currently have their children enrolled in the IHM elementary school, will register for the 2020-2021 school year and reapply to the FACTS TUITION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM.  Yes it is that time of the year to do so, which at first may sound EARLY, but in reality it is not!

To ensure classroom size and the necessary faculty for next school year it is required to have children currently in the school commit to the following school year by  the end of this week or by Friday, February 14, 2020.  Pray for a successful outcome as has been in the past several years.  We currently have 269 students in grades K-8 and 16 children in PRE-K!  Let’s hope we keep them all and gain a full classroom of kindergartners.

By committing their children at this time also commits them to the new tuition rate for 2020-2021 – $4,675.00 (first child).

If necessary, financial assistance is also available to them when they apply for GRANT AND AID through the FACTS TUITION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM which is the mandatory application that determines financial aid which can come from either The McIntyre Fund or Diocesan Tuition Assistance.

Currently, the McIntyre Fund offers approximately $20,000 dollars in aid to IHM parishioner students each year that qualify from their GRANT AND AID application.  This amounts to helping approximately 25 IHM families and 40 students.  Diocesan Tuition Assistance also offers approximately $25,000 as well and it goes to either these same families if qualified and also to our non-parish families that qualify.

Open enrollment begins after February 14, 2020 which means new students moving in or coming from other schools, public or private, can register for 2020-2021.
