INTRO: In your minds, is there a difference between BELIEVING in God and TRUSTING in God?

We can BELIEVE that God exists, that He is out there somewhere and is good – but we will go about our day unsure of how He exists or even try and figure it out HOW He exists!

BUT TRUSTING in God is being able to accept and follow His plan as our days, weeks, months, and years unfold. No need to figure GOD, He is there, but to live with TRUST is truly a great way of life!

JESUS wants his Apostles and Followers to not only believe in Him, but also to TRUST Him implicitly. To live that kind of TRUSTING LIFE!

That is why Jesus told His followers that He would send an “ADVOCATE” a power greater than all, to help them live life to the fullest …. And to live a life with the greatest TRUST in God!

I, many times, have worried way too much about this or that, making sure all things are in place,

Every “i” is “dotted and every “t” is crossed. And I many times go crazy!!!

Lately, I feel I may have mellowed a bit…. as I have learned quietly to say, when I am experiencing the PULL to get all things together…
“Jim, it will all get done!”

And IT DOES.

I have started developing a TRUST that a power greater than myself is present! It feels good, too.

CONCLUSION

We, too, are reminded that we are not alone in our day-in-and-day-out experiences of life. We have that same “Advocate,” that same “Holy Spirit,” to trust that all will be well!
