Bequests Help Continue Parish Work

Dear Parishioners,

BEQUESTS HELP CONTINUE PARISH WORK

In life, Rudolph (Rudy) Hinderegger, blessed Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish with his faithful parish membership and giving his support to his wife, Jeanne, as she worked tirelessly for several years in IHM’s Ministry for the Needy program. In death, he continues to bless IHM’s Ministry for the Needy, a long-standing program of financial and food assistance to our brothers and sisters in need.

Rudy died this past year on June 25, 2017 at the age of 87 and is survived by Jeanne, his wife of 51 years, and their four children. His instructions were that at the time of his death that his estate would offer a gift of $1,500.00 to continue the charitable works of the IHM Ministry for the Needy program here at IHM Parish!

Rudy knew how often The Ministry for the Needy meets (every Wednesday evening) to discuss helping out neighbors who have made humble requests for financial assistance and food. He knew the requests for financial assistance and food are almost never-ending. He knew that a “surprise” financial contribution, a generous offering of his and Jeanne’s would assist greatly to those brothers and sisters of ours who find themselves in stress and need.

Rudy had such forward-thinking generosity and love for the parish and those in need. May he rest in peace and experience the risen Lord of all generosity and love. Alleluia!

Many blessings,
Father Jim
