It is that time of the year when I responsibly share our annual report with all of you. This report was sent to the diocese in August and was accepted without any corrections! IHM is in a good financial place because of ALL OF YOU! Your generosity continues to be consistent. Thank you.

I realize too, that there have been all kinds of situations of financial difficulty, financial surprises to your households and higher household expenses, yet our total income reflects amazing stability. Again, thank you.

You will notice the higher expenses in the school. In consultation with our diocesan office of education and my finance council this is the year to improve schoolteacher salaries. Their salaries NEVER reflected the salaries of public-school teachers. Our goal is to get them much closer to what our area public school teachers receive. It is most appropriate this year to begin this “right-sizing”.

I am grateful to our staff that also assists me in this financial “operation” of a catholic parish with a catholic school.
