Dear Parishioners,

Happy Easter! This has been a wonderful week of church services that always bring such gratitude for being Catholic. Many blessings of Easter happiness to all of you and your extended family who are with us and who have gone before us.

I am looking ahead to next Sunday as IHM church starts a program for children, ages 3-9 called:

LITURGY OF THE WORD FOR CHILDREN

Trained volunteer adult catechists will bring together these children after the Opening Prayer of the 10:00am Mass and lead them to the church hall for lessons on the bible readings for that Sunday. They will bring them back into church for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

These lessons will take place at 10:00am Mass every other week. It is exciting that IHM will create “little Bible learners!”

In addition there will be an Easter Family Social on Sunday, April 7th after the 10:00am Mass in the All-Purpose Room.
