Pastor Letter – Lenten Retreat for IHM – Emailed February 10, 2023

Dear Parishioners,

LENT starts on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, which is a little more than a week away. It has always been a sacrificial time for us, but also a time to grow in our spiritual lives.

PRAY – FAST – GIVE ALMS

With that in mind, IHM will offer you four evening opportunities to deepen your relationship with God, to pray, and to share with others in faith sharing groups. These could be attended consecutively or simply one or two of them. No one will be required to attend all four, although each night is crafted differently.

FIRST NIGHT   Gratitude for God’s Unconditional Love
SECOND NIGHT   Healing and Freedom to Encounter God’s Presence
THIRD NIGHT   Following Jesus in Friendship
FOURTH NIGHT   Loving as God Loves

These nights begin Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 6:30pm followed by March 8, 15, and 22.

There is no cost, but space is limited. Please register by Wednesday, February 22, 2023 by contacting Terrie at tkiley@jesuitretreatcenter.org or 330-310-8683.

I am grateful to parishioner Terrie Kiley, the presenter of these four nights. Terrie’s position at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Cleveland, Ohio is Spiritual Formation Coordinator.
